VP, Marketing / CMO
The Odyssey Channel is on the journey to double its footprint, as we prepare to expand into the Cable Market and introduce new original programming in current regions.

Overview:
Vice President of Marketing reporting to the Chief Executive Officer. This position is responsible for developing and executing clearly defined marketing and communications strategy to support consistent business growth while enhancing brand awareness. He/She will plan, organize, staff, train and manage all marketing functions to achieve sales, growth, profitability and visibility.

Compensation: $165,000 Yearly + Bonuses and Healthcare Stipend.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop Marketing strategies and implement tactical plans to exceed expectations.
  • Successfully manage multiple existing brands and develop new ones.
  • Responsible for protecting the brand identity across multiple regions.
  • Manage partnership and promotions by developing unique value propositions to target key customer segments that increase brand awareness.
  • Create paid advertising strategy targeting customer demographics to grow sales and visibility
  • Track ROI of all advertising and promotional campaigns. Focus on optimizing results to maximize the return on dollars invested.
  • Conduct and analyze market research to determine market share, industry and market trends, competitors and consumer behavior to measure marketing effectiveness.
  • Hire, train, coach and mentor team to exceed expectations while creating opportunities for succession talent.
  • Collaborate with other departments to build the company’s business plan.
  • Function as a key contributor in the retail pricing strategy, work with the Head of Sales and Product Development to maximize profitability.
  • Prepare messaging and presentation materials for senior management.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Business, MBA preferred.
  • 10 years of experience in a marketing role with at least 7 years of experience in a management role.
  • Strong analytical, planning, forecasting and budgeting skills
  • Proven track records of performance excellence meeting targets and objectives
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with demanding timeframes
  • Online experience, online buying, chats and any other type of functional websites
  • Experience developing and managing successful advertising campaigns across multiple markets
  • LATAM experience highly preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Multicultural Experience preferred
  • Bilingual: Verbal and written skills in both English and Spanish
